USS.
“In November 2004, the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group was operating approximately 100 miles off the coast of San Diego when radar operators aboard the USS Princeton began tracking anomalous objects descending from 60,000 feet to just above the ocean surface — nearly instantly.”
Fravor observed a white, 40-foot Tic-Tac shaped object hovering over the ocean above a roiling patch of water — as though something large was just below the surface. The craft had no wings, no visible propulsion system, and no exhaust. As Fravor moved to cut off the object's path, it accelerated to intercept him — then vanished. It reappeared moments later at Fravor's combat air patrol point, 60 miles away, apparently waiting. A second F/A-18 from the same squadron captured the encounter on FLIR camera.
The FLIR footage, along with footage from two other incidents (GIMBAL and GOFAST), was leaked in 2007 and officially released by the Pentagon in 2020. The objects in the footage demonstrate acceleration, speed, and maneuverability that exceed all known human technology. The objects appear to move against 120-knot winds with no aerodynamic surfaces. No country possesses this technology in 2024.
Fravor has become one of the most credentialed voices in the UAP disclosure movement, testifying before Congress in 2023. "I don't know what I saw," he has said. "But I know it was not from this world."
